Dave Everly
Dave Everly is the co-founder and host of The Respite at Halibut Cove, which exists to give pastors and church leaders the time and space to rest. Located in Halibut Cove, Alaska, The Respite combines his experience and knowledge of ministry with the quiet and rest of a solitary place to offer renewal and recalibration.
As seasoned ministry professional, Dave discovered the effects that working in ministry can have on a person, a family, and other important relationships. Both good and bad. Because of his experiences, he is passionate about offering a quiet place of rest for those whose vocation is a calling that can be more rewarding than imaginable, yet very tedious and taxing, accompanied at times by feelings of isolation, exhaustion, and confusion.
His story of personal and family tragedy has been the path to a loving and gracious Father. It is this very brokenness that has given him the heart and passion to be available to others.
